Previous: As a beginner photography student, I don't have much photography experience. Prior to taking this class, I would only take pictures during vacations; as seen in some my landscape shots. Landscapes are definitely my favorite type of photo to shoot because I don't really need to set up anything like lighting or have a model pose to shoot them. But my overall favorite part of photography is editing my photos using Photoshop because you can change the entire mood of the picture by changing its exposure, highlighting colors, or taking things out of the photo. Its so satisfying to look at the original photo, then the edited version, to see how far the photo has progressed.
Current: This is my second year of photography class. Our projects this were more complicated to shoot for and we had only 2 weeks to shoot and edit each set of photos. I will admit that it was very frustrating at times, but overall, I really enjoyed myself. My favorite project to shoot for has to be the triptych series, just because there was such a large variety of options and room for creativity.
